A writer first and foremost, Jason has spent the majority of his career in marketing communications. As a frustrated musician - and in a desperate attempt at relevancy in middle age - he and a group of friends founded Club Soda, a steakhouse and jazz club located in downtown Fort Wayne, in 1999. It was within the walls of the century-old brick warehouse that would become Club Soda that he had his baptism by fire in interior design. His design tendencies lean toward modern/contemporary, though he is a strong adherent to architect Louis Sullivan's edict that form should follow function. In other words, there's no reason it can't look cool and still be comfortable. His choices here reflect that approach to design.
